The Internet Industry Awards [http://www.internetindustryawards.co.nz/] are now open for (self) nominations.

The Education Category (as described on their website) reads:

Recognises companies (or schools or organisations) who have developed an application, product or service that is likely to have the greatest impact on learning or teaching in New Zealand. Applications in this category may come from areas such as:

  •     Teaching and learning
  •     Knowledge technical skills
  •     Proper conduct
  •     Formal and informal teaching
  •     Skills development

The entry form is not onerous and can be found at: http://internetindustryawards.co.nz/entering/ -  and the judges will be in touch if they need further clarification about your application.

I know there are many examples out there where Kiwis are doing fantastic work delivering world-class weducation solutions using the internet - give it a go.
